DSC_0613   Author’s bio: Izabel (Izi) Vasileva was born Apr 1991 in Bulgaria, where she grew up surrounded by loving friends and family, who have always encouraged her to follow her dreams and always supported her decision despite the fact how crazy they were sometimes. At the age of 18 she decided to move to UK to study and follow her dreams, that’s when a lot of people she knew told her ‘You can’t do it.’. Izi as stubborn as she stood her ground and told them ‘Just watch me.’, which is what she says every time someone doubts her abilities. In 2009 she moved to Canterbury, where on her own she faced the challenges of being independent and living away from home. She learned quickly to adapt and made many new friends along the way. Books have been a passion of hers for a while. She likes to get lost between the pages of a good fiction. Her favorites are YA novel and the very first book that captured her attention completely was Twilight. After some unfortunate events with one of her friends, Izi finally decided to put the idea, which has been in her head for couple of months, on paper. That’s how Izi’s first novel The Prison of Oblivion was born. The author loves expressing her feeling through her stories, but fully realizes that she needs to write more and learn more about writing before she becomes one of the authors, who readers truly admire. To all the readers the author says ‘If you like fiction and YA novel, give me a chance.’.

91jvE89XhLL._SL1500_  Blrub Modern love can be a headache. Just ask Annie Morgan, who, recently divorced, finds herself in the middle of the proverbial online dating jungle. Making a deal with her best friend, Annie agrees to go out on exactly five online dates out of seventy-six potential suitors. Shane Nicholls was jaded, he had his heart broken and never got over the hurt. Now, convinced that all women are trouble, he avoids drama at any cost. Funny thing is, drama seems to find Shane around every corner. Can Annie, a romantic at heart, find love online or will she find love at first sight the old-fashioned way, by awkward, chance meetings with Shane Nicholls? Through a number of obstacles and heartache, Annie and Shane find that love at first sight really does exist if you truly believe. AtFirstSight (2)
Johnny’s was packed. Standing on line to place her order, Annie took in her surroundings. Just as the owner, Johnny, was coming over to take her order, something caught Annie’s eye. The guy near the window, he seemed familiar somehow. Where had she seen him before? He was eating dinner with a pretty brunette. He lifted his head to look at Annie as their eyes locked. On no! It was the guy from the mall, the one she bumped into. She quickly spun around, knocking right into the waitress who was carrying a tray of soft drinks. Soda soaked her shirt and dripped onto the floor. The waitress was clearly annoyed and appeared like she would have loved to tell Annie off. Instead she rolled her eyes and ran to get a towel. If Annie thought she was embarrassed before, it was nothing compared to how she felt now. Every eye in the place was on her, including the guy from the mall. Helpless to do anything else, she grabbed some napkins and bent down to sop up some of the mess. “It seems you have a knack for causing a scene everywhere you go.” It was his voice. The voice that filled her head with inappropriate thoughts, with longing. What was she thinking? Did she dare look up? His gaze was a magnet, forcing her to meet his eyes. His eyes were a warmer brown than she had remembered, drawing her in. “I...uh...” “I’m joking. Here, let me help you with that.” He grabbed the napkins from her hand. The heat between them jolted her back. She moved quickly, surprised he could evoke such a reaction from her. Nobody had ever made her feel so exposed before. What was going on here? Annie felt foolish. “I’m Shane. Shane Nicholls.” He extended his hand to her. They must have appeared to be quite the sight, bending over to clean up the mess while shaking hands. “Annie.” Annie remembered her new rules of safety in the dating world. One of them was she would not reveal her last name or any other personal information until she was sure the guy wasn’t a stalker or anything. “Annie. It suits you, I like it.” Annie had almost forgot about the woman waiting for Shane at the table near the window. She glanced over and took in a tight-lipped woman. It hit Annie that this woman was not the same stunning woman from the mall. Hmm, she had met his type before. This guy had “player” written all over him. She quickly brushed herself off and excused herself. “Hey, Annie. Wait.” He reached for her hand. Annie forgot all about placing her order and made a beeline for the door. She didn’t look back. Well, Annie figured, it looked like it would be Chinese food tonight.   At First Sight Playlist Soul Sister- Train Drops of Jupiter-Train

Mia Dennsi is a beautiful young woman who has experienced a challenging childhood. As an out of work teacher, Mia accepts a position for home-schooling a troubled, misunderstood teenager. Mia makes it a priority to help Cassidy overcome her challenges and reach for her dreams. In the process, Mia experiences healing of her own; she is faced with issues she must now come to terms with. Mia finds a rare friendship in Jamie, her caring and attractive neighbor. The relationship starts off as friendship, but will Mia let this healthy friendship bloom into something more or is she destined to a repeat the vicious cycle of making the same mistakes over and over again? Through the various twists and turns of Mia’s love life, she is forced to make a decision that will affect her entire future. The reader cannot help but root for this character to succumb to true love and happiness. WhereThereIsLove
I would have done anything for that girl. Anything. I have dreamed of Mia, I have waited for Mia. I have loved Mia. I can’t trust Mia. I can’t get my hopes up again, only to be crushed by her. I couldn’t stand it. She doesn’t allow herself to be happy. What has happened in her life to cause her to reject the people who love her, who care for her? I remember the first time I ever laid eyes one her. The way she bumped into me, how embarrassed she was. I swear to this day that she is the most beautiful creature I’ve laid eyes on. Her slim build, dark hair and striking eyes. And that smile, that smile still warms my heart. I went to see my grandma in Maine for the weekend once I realized that I was falling in love with Mia. My grandmother and I have always been close. She has been there for me through thick and thin ever since I was a child. I grew even closer to her as I was growing up, finding my way in life. For some reason, I always found it easiest to share my feelings with Grandma, the two of us like kindred spirits. My feelings for Mia scared the life out of me. I told my grandmother that I didn’t want to risk getting hurt again and that Mia seemed so unsure of herself. She offered me a piece of advice that I will hold true to my heart forever: She placed her hand over my heart and said, “Go where there is love, surround yourself with love.” So I did, I went to Mia and tried to tell her how I felt, only to be brushed off with news of Josh coming back into the picture. I’m happy with Danielle, she’s smart and she’s beautiful. Yeah,I’m going to give this a chance, I would be a fool not to. But...I think...she’s not Mia.
My heart can’t take She has the power to hurt me, and I can’t survive that again.

Questions for main character, Mia:
  1. Q: I see that you’re a special education teacher. How did you first decide to pursue that career?
A: Mia: I guess you could say that I grew up with a lot of alone time. As an only child whose father left when I was small and being raised by a mom who was wrapped up in her career as a fashion designer, I vowed that I would help others who may be faced with challenging situations. My best friend, Sarah, has a brother named Billy who has learning disabilities. I have a special place in my heart for Billy and love spending time with him and Sarah. Some of my best memories include the times I spent with them. I have always wanted to make a difference in the lives of others and now I have that chance.
  1. Q: Why did you decide to home-school a high school student? Do you prefer this type of position as opposed to having your own class?
A: Mia: It’s funny, I’ve always thought that I would teach younger students, elementary school age. However, it seemed that there were always budget cuts and my positions prior to this involved maternity leave positions in which the teacher always returned. It’s discouraging that jobs are so hard to come by in today’s economy. The last few years, I supported myself by subbing and waitressing at a restaurant in town. Just as I was losing hope, I received a call asking if I wanted to home-school a high school senior. Imagine that! I never thought that I would work with teenagers, and as a matter of fact, I thought about declining the interview right there on the phone. Something inside of me told me that I had nothing to lose, so I decided to show up for the interview.
  1. Q: Why was the student being home-schooled? Why couldn’t she finish her senior year at the high school?
A: Mia: Well, that’s a very good question and that’s exactly what I wanted to know. The question was met with an abrupt, vague answer. I was told that the young teen was troubled and that she couldn’t get along with other students at the school. Of course, I delved deeper and eventually discovered that this girl was being bullied and that nobody believed her side of the story. Cassidy’s self-esteem was crushed and I promised myself that I would help this girl believe in herself. I wanted to look deeper into the bullying situation and try to help Cassidy cope with her feelings.
  1. Q: It sounds like you have a very rewarding career. Can we talk about your personal life? Is there a boyfriend in the picture?
A: Mia: I haven’t had much luck in the romance department. Past boyfriends haven’t always been the best choices for me. I suppose you could say that right now I’m kind of torn between a guy that I had a huge crush on and a neighbor whom I’ve become close friends with. I’ve never been friends with a guy like my neighbor before, Jamie is everything that a woman could ask for. Q: But? A: Mia: It’s complicated, let’s leave it at that for now. The thing is, I don’t want to lose Jamie as a friend. Q: It seems that you have a lot to think about. The choice seems clear to me, what’s the issue? A: Mia: Like I said, it’s complicated, but I can’t imagine my life without Jamie.
  1. Q: I see. Let’s move on. I’m curious to see if you helped Cassidy. If there’s one thing that you have learned in life that you could advise someone who is going through a rough time, what would it be?
A: Mia: I don’t think that I’m an expert on giving advice, but I can tell you this, be kind to yourself, believe in yourself and hold true to your dreams. I have a lot to learn myself, but I feel that I’m getting there, if you don’t believe in yourself, nobody else is going to. Hold your head high and keep your focus, that’s what I would say, don’t let anybody crush your dreams.   Where There is Love Playlist Moody Blues- Your Wildest Dreams Roy Orbison- Pretty Woman The Rolling Stones -Wild Horses

  1. What are your ambitions for your writing career?
I have many ambitions for my career as a writer. I wish to promote the books that I already have published so that I can share my stories with others. The use of social media has been tremendously helpful to me, now I would like to expand my reach to my local area as well. I would be thrilled to participate in book signings, visit with local libraries and other venues. I would also like to continue to write more books because I have so many ideas that I want to see come to life in print. I have learned a lot during the writing and publication process already, but I feel that there’s so much more information out there to gain. One of my goals is to connect with more authors and collaborate on many aspects of writing. I think it would be great to attend more author events and conferences to mingle with fellow authors.
  • Which writers inspire you?
The list could go on and on. There are truly so many talented authors that have inspired me to write my own stories. Nicholas Sparks is right up there, he writes touching love stories that have great plots that stay with you long after you have finished reading his books. I guess you could say I have eclectic tastes in books, many years ago I was a huge Dean Koontz fan, I also enjoy reading James Patterson, Jodi Picoult and Lisa Jackson. In a way, all of these authors have inspired me.
  • If you could say give advice to one of your characters who would it be and what would you tell them?
It would have to be Mia in Where There is Love. Without giving away too much of the plot, I would advise her to give herself a break and look at all she has accomplished. Mia is a strong, beautiful character that struggles with her past. I would tell her that she can do anything she puts her mind to and that she deserves happiness.
  • What was the hardest thing about writing your latest book?
My latest book is a young adult fantasy story about a young teen who feels that the grass is always greener everywhere else. I had so much fun writing this story as it was my first real young adult novel, my other novels fall into the genre of contemporary romance. The hardest thing was to think about my main character’s age and try to convey the thoughts of a young teen throughout the text. Also, the story’s setting focuses on an underwater village filled with mermaids. It was challenging to place my characters in the ocean and portray the actions of these characters from this setting. My antagonist in this book was complicated, however, she was also a lot of fun to create. Overall, withstanding some challenges, I had a great time creating this story. I think it’s important for authors to challenge themselves, that’s how we grow as writers.
  • Tell us about the cover/s and how it/they came about.
Oh, I love my covers! I’m so excited to display my covers while marketing and showing others my books. My cover for At First Sight is perfect for this story. The cover is fun and flirty, it portrays my characters perfectly. My main character, Annie, reluctantly tries online dating after her divorce while holding out for the idea of love at first sight. The cover has a computer mouse in the center of the beautiful cover. My publisher, Astraea Press, provided the cover for this book and the designer, Cora Graphics, was wonderful to work with. They asked for descriptions of the characters and setting, the theme of the book and feedback from me. I loved that cover immediately. The cover for Where There is Love, published by Solstice Publishing, is another perfect fit for my book. I selected Classy Designs to create the depiction of my main character, Mia, and the setting of my story. I communicated my thoughts for the cover with Classy Designs and I was excited to see the final cover meet my needs. Classy designs was flexible and easy to work with. I think it’s so important to have a cover design that catches the reader’s eye, I’m pleased to have covers that I’m so proud to speak about.

Strings By Kat Green (Late Post)

Book Blurb – The rise of the Black Eagles was meteoric, from band practice in the garage to global stars almost overnight. And Melissa Webb, the beautiful girlfriend of the front man, appeared to have it all. But when Luke Black disappears without a trace and Melissa wakes up in a hospital bed after a savage attack, her perfect world is shattered and their lives are plunged into a potentially deadly crisis. Where is Luke, and can he be found before it is too late?

 [youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xuHeDOHoBL8]

Spotlight: Melissa was also a big part of his plans. It surprised him when he thought about it, because with past girlfriends, his focus had never been diverted from his musical goals. More than once, this was the reason that his relationships ended. It wasn’t selfishness on his part, or at least he didn’t think it was. It was just that he’d never been with someone who he had pictured in his long-term plans. But she was in all of them now. He’d always found the thought of spending your life with one person a bit scary – never being close to another person or having that exciting feeling of a new relationship. But she’d changed all that. It may have been only a month, but he knew she was the one he wanted to be with. The fact that his friends seemed to like her too was a bonus; there had been one or two girls in the past who hadn’t fitted in – usually too wrapped up in themselves to bother getting to know his mates. They were the people he spent most of his time with, and he was nothing without them – they were like family. Melissa had just slotted into the role of being his girlfriend so effortlessly, and vice versa. It just seemed natural. His plans for his future and the band’s therefore naturally included her – it was as though she was their fifth member, even though she didn’t sing or play an instrument. He trusted her and valued her opinion, so it meant a lot to him that she approved of what they did. He was still awake, his thoughts flying around in his head. He decided that he needed to hear her voice, to settle him down and put that tiny bit of doubt out of his mind. So he dialled her number. ‘Are you worrying?’ She sounded sleepy when she answered. ‘A little – everyone’s asleep, but I can’t shut off.’ ‘Can you get to me?’ ‘Of course, babe. I’ll be there in half an hour.’ He knew he should be sleeping, but there was only one place he wanted to be right now. He called a taxi, leaving a note for his sleeping band mates to pick him up from her house in the morning. He just hoped they could be trusted to get up on time.

Kat Green was born Nov 1979 into a military family, and moved around alot during her childhood. This shaped her into the person she is today. At ease with meeting new people and adapting to new surroundings. Her family roots are from Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire. Kat now lives with her husband and son on the south coast of England, Portsmouth. She doesn’t pretend to be the best, and is still growing as a writer and having fun along the way. She loves books and has a busy imagination. Her love for music plays a big part in her first nove, Strings, and she can be found mainly at gigs around the UK. In 2010 she lost her mother to blood cancer and it was time to put her words on a page and stop worrying about what people might say, ‘Life is too short and precious to waste’ is her motto. Writing is her passion and her escape. If you like what she does, she says ‘Thank you!’ For those who don’t, she says ‘Thanks for giving her a chance.’

Kat Green: Interview.
What inspired you to write your first book? I’ve always wanted to write a book. I penned my first when I was 11, no idea what happened to it, but I do remember elements of it are in Strings. The story isn’t the same in the sense of it being about a rock band, or fame but the Amber part was. Losing my mum 4 years ago made me realize life is short and it was about time I did what I really wanted to do before it was too late. Sometimes there isn’t a tomorrow.
How did you come up with the title? The name changed 4 times until I decided on Strings. There are lots of different events in the book that are surrounded by being tied to something, or a form of Strings being involved. Amber said ‘No Strings attached.’ Guitars have Strings, the boys signing a contract which ties them into something. I just thought it was a perfect name.
Is there a message in your novel that you want readers to grasp? It didn’t start of that way. As the story unfolded I began to see a message. Everything has a price. If something is worth the fight, you fight hard for it. And, that even boys in bands can fall in love. There is a stigma attached to being a ‘Rock Star’ that it’s all sex, drugs and groupies. I know a lot of bands and it really is not the case for all. I know lots of people in bands who are in committed relationships, they gig and they go home. Of course, I am not saying it doesn’t happen, we all know it does. My main one is the power of friendship. True friends can conquer anything together. And, so can true love but you have to be willing to take the bad as well as the good. And, that fame isn’t what people think it is, it can be a very lonely place. Famous people are human to and they had bad times and money doesn’t buy you everything. Money was no good to Melissa when Luke went missing, it was useless.
If you had to do it all over again, would you change anything in your latest book? I think every writer thinks they could have done it better or changed this or that. I did that for a long time, and eventually you just have to let it be. Once I was finally able to sit back and say ‘Yes. It’s ready’ It was time to let it go. I could change things, but I have no desire to do it.
What's the best thing you enjoy about writing? Creating people and building a world all of my own
Do you have any advice for other writers? Be brave. Write what is in your heart and soul. Be at peace that your book won’t be liked by everyone and not to take it too much to heart. It’s a big world out there and everyone has different taste. Be grateful for those who do like it and support you. Focus on that and don’t let it knock your confidence.
Do you have anything specific that you want to say to your readers? Yes. Thank you. You’re all Awesome for giving my book a chance. It means a lot to me.
Which Character/s did you create first? Melissa and Beth were always in my mind, and they never changed. Well, apart from Melissa whos name change twice before I settled on Melissa. She was Stephanie at one stage. Names always seem to be important to me they have to be just right. Then Luke was created, who was actually Dean at the very start.
How important is music to you? Music is a massive passion of mine. I love finding new bands and going to gigs.
What are you working on at the moment? The sequel to Strings, and planning the third and last one.

Q1: How old were you when you started playing guitar? LB: I was Twelve. My mum gave me Chloe, my acoustic guitar on my twelve birthday. That guitar is like another best friend, if anything ever happened to her it would be tragic. And, people better hide for a few weeks. I have poured my heart out with her. I think she knows more about me than anyone.  Q2: What was the first song that you wrote? And, Why? LB: Pink Ribbons was my first song. Chloe, was my first best friend, we meet when we were 5, even then I had an eye for the girls. ( Luke laughs, but then frowns.) She died in a house fire on her seventh birthday, her death impacted on me so much. I was 7 years old and I didn’t understand it, how could she be gone. I had all these things I wanted to say, and I didn’t know how to. So, I didn’t and I locked her away. The guitar came along and suddenly I found an outlet. Turns out, I’m pretty good at it. It was the only way I could move on and accept it. But, without letting her go completely, it was after writing that song I decided to name my guitar after her.
Q3: If Chloe was still alive, do you think she would be your girlfriend? LB: I often ask myself that. I don’t know if she would have been in my life romantically, but as a friend, Yes. I would do anything to have her back. A part of me thinks she was removed to allow me to meet Melissa, or maybe not. I don’t know, and I guess I never will understand it. Why people do stupid things for fun, and ultimately end a life. She is my little Angel who I believe has always been with me. I’ve never forgotten her. She’s be a riot though, she was funny even at 6, and I know I loved her.
Q4: If you were not in a band or doing anything music related. What job would you be doing? LB: I would still be working in a petrol station. Dying of boredom. I try not to think about it. I’m doing the only thing I want to do and have any skill in and it’s the best thing in the world. I’m the happiest person in the world when I’m on stage.
Q5: What was it like to go from playing to 20 people in a pub to what you’re doing now? LB: Mind blowing, insane and I am still in shock. Everyone dreams of it but not everyone gets it. I am so thankful for every fan we have, we have some incredible fans. Some have been with us from the very start. Some have become friends. It’s nice.
Q6: What song is your favourite to perform? LB: That’s easy ‘Weekend High’ I wrote that when I was twenty after a really bad relationship. It wasn’t really a relationship but at the time I didn’t see it, it was just convenience and there was no love there. Also, the fans go nuts to it.
Q7: Which gig has been your favorite so far? LB: Now, that is harder to answer because every gig is amazing for all kinds of reasons. I don’t think it would be fair to choose one. That is like saying to one set of fans ‘Oh you were great’ and make other fans feel like you are dissing them. But, for sentimental reasons our third gig at Ruby’s back home will always be special. I meet my Liss there and it was what changed everything for me, and us as a band.
Q8: It’s a Saturday night and you’re not on tour. What would you be doing? LB: I don’t see my girlfriend very much, so we would either be catching up at home. (Luke winks and laughs) or I would be writing new material. I don’t really have spare time. I feel like I always have something to work on, or prepare for. When I’m on tour that is like my party time, and when I’m home I try to calm down from it all.
Q9: Who is your best friend? LB: My band are my best mates but the ultimate title goes to Dale. He’s always there for me even when I’m being a dick, we’ve know each other for about 100 years. He’s a fucking ace best friend and he’s not a bad guitarist either. Q10: What would you like to say to your fans about the gossip that surrounds you? LB: That most of it is complete and utter Bollocks. If you haven’t heard it from me the chances are it isn’t true. And, Just to clarify the latest story. The band are not splitting up. My girlfriend isn’t sleeping with my drummer, doesn’t have a drink problem and isn’t pregnant. Whoever writes this crap are fucking idiots. I don’t care what they write about me, but I do care when my girlfriend is sobbing because people are calling her all kinds of things in the street or online. Q11: What annoys you about being in the limelight? LB: Before I answer this I’d like to say that for band reasons I have no problem with it. Being in front of people with all eyes on me is part of my job. It’s important to my career. What I don’t understand is people’s need to lie. As, I just stated in my last answer. What is the point of it? What is entertaining about making up stories that my girlfriend is sleeping with one of my band, not cool. My band are very close to Melissa, like her big brothers and that’s the end of it. Plus, do you really think Toby would still be in the band? No, he’d be out on his arse if he betrayed me like that. I wouldn’t still be with Melissa either, do people really think I’m a mug and would allow that? No. I wouldn’t.
Q12: Do you have any regrets? LB: Yes. I would rather not say as it’s something that is causing me issues currently and I wish I could turn the clocks back so I never meet this person. That’s all I’m willing to say.
Q13: What would you say annoys others about you? LB: I’m a perfectionist. I drive everyone mad at times. We could have completely nailed a song but I will be thinking about making it better. I worry about things more then the others. There have been times where I’m trying to change a set list minutes before a show and that winds people up.
Q14: Would you change anything about the band? LB: Hell no! We’re in a good place and there’s nobody else I would consider doing this with. They are my best mates and we have a laugh and without them I would be nowhere. Anyway, I don’t think anyone else would put up with me.
Q15: Dale dates Melissa’s best friend and you met each other on the same night. Is it difficult , best friends dating best friends? LB: Apart from the fact the girls are pretty much joined at the hip, meaning I never get rid of Dale.. Nah, I’m kidding. To be honest the girls are more rock and roll than we are. Beth is great and she makes my BF happy and it’s nice to know they look after each other when we’re on the road.
Q16: You have 48 hours to live. What would you do? ..... Read the answer on Authors Kat Greens Blog by clicking here!

Blurb -

The Sacrificing Mother dives deep into the world of Laney Rhodes, a 17 year old girl, who loves nothing more than to surf. Laney’s life has never be smooth sailing or easy going. To be blunt her mother is an escort/stripper/sexual favors kind of a woman. Yes, to be exact Rubee Rhodes was quite the scandal, who had an inappropriate relationship with alcohol.
Of course we cannot commence the storytelling process without justifying the backstory and whence it began. So all aboard criminals and lovers let’s enter the winding roads and deserted isles of a girl named Laney Rhodes.
There should always be two types of pregnancy tests. One, being for women who has established themselves in society or who are 30 years of age or older. The other one that is so apparently portrayed in my mind’s eye. Is for all those teenagers, those sweethearts running off to do the act they think will last forever. Guess what in denial tweens, it doesn’t!
So instead of the occasionally two lines or plus sign, for the youth of our nation there should be two replies for breaking the news: For NO it should state in all caps and in bold big blinking letters CONGRATS! As it shoots out confetti. If you happen to be as unlucky as I am, then you would read the equivalent to the overused acronym FML. These three letters do not blink or congratulate you, they stand tall and wide. Your future is carved into a plastic flamingo lawn ornament, instead of an honoree plaque as a college graduate.
Oh, if only I could just take this worry, and surf the angst away. My, wouldn’t everyday be a little bit brighter! So, you’re wondering who the guy is that so kindly invested in me with his sperm. Well, I fell in love for the first time that summer or maybe the second, the second time I am still a little unsure about… Audience members meet the boys; Noah Adler, 19 year old college bound, gorgeous, virgin galore. Briton Clark, 22 year old bodyguard at my mother’s strip club. One night she finds definite disaster in the blue eyes of Briton and pure romance with Noah. The heart throbs have turned tables on her and cupid is now calling her out stupid.

S.M. Bjarnson interview with main character Laney Rhodes.

SM- Laney you've grown up and experienced the oddest of predicaments. To be honest you have not had the best living situations or easy upbringing!
LR- I think everybody can say they didn't have an easy channel for maturity. Although not many mothers are hookers, like mine.
SM- Do you ever have regrets in your life, Laney?
LR- Not as many as I thought I would at this point. There have been items in my life that people categorize as mistakes. But I could never justify a human being as a problem, let alone a mistake.
SM- You are quite brave for sharing your story with thousands of people?
LR- I wouldn't call it bravery, I just see myself as an example rather than a statistic. I evolve from the situations I have placed myself in, and the story I hope translates a journey of overcoming circumstances.

The Long Road: A Postapocalyptic Novel

The Long Road: A Postapocalyptic Novel is a page turn. I enjoy this book. The characters and plots in this book will keep you wanting to read more. I found that the more I read the more I wanted to read. This line from the blrub is what will pull readers in to wanting to know more about this book “Only six weeks have passed since a super-EMP attack devastated the United States” This book it what the blurb says. The character, big or small roles, all play a part in making the story and keeped me hook. I don’t want to get into the plot and spill the beans but it is one that will keep you guessing. This a read for anyone looking for an adventure page turn story.

EKHO: Evil Kid Hunting Organization

Review
“Ten-year-old Elvis Jones is tired of being picked on, taunted, and teased by the bullies at his elementary school, so he does what any smart, technologically brilliant kid his age would do: he creates EKHO, the Evil Kid Hunting Organization” this first line is why I wanted and read this book. This book would be great for “middle age” readers. I was bullied so I loved the idea of EKHO. I found the characters and plot well written and good to read. The book itself was a whole is one that young readers will wasn’t to keep reading because they’ll want to know what will happen next; adult readers will enjoy the story too. This is a story covers school and bullying. This is one that many people of all ages will like.
