The Waking Engine By David Edison
Review:
The Waking Engine By David Edison is a story that will keep you reading wanting to know what will happen next. Keeping thinking and giving you a feel of needing to know more. This the story when someones die they awake to find that they are now in one of a million different worlds. That is until they comes to the last place, the City Unspoken. Where death is really the ending. The Waking Engine, takes you on a trip and a half with Manhattan, Cooper. I enjoy reading this book as I never knew what was going to happen when I would turn the next page. The idea of this book is amazing, just like the writing in the book. The characters are full of personality while they go through this adventure. I would say if you enjoy books that make you thing, that blows your mind, keeps you guessing then The Waking Engine is for you!

Starlet's Web (The Starlet #1) by Carla J. Hanna
Starlet's Web (The Starlet #1) by Carla J. Hanna
Any one who loves reading about the Hollywood will enjoy the book.
It's filled with the ups and downs of the Hollywood life style and
the ups and downs of being a girl. There's many different emotion in
this book. I found the writing to be quite well and a bit of a
different style too. The characters in the book are strongly written;
meaning they have personality. Liana Marie, is on a learning path of
life being of an age that many go through learning lessons. Bryon is
the prom king of this story. While Evan is the start that keeps is
life his, his own. All the characters in this book, in Marie's life
are all different and easy to tell who is who. They all play a huge
part in her life. She is a girl who stand up for what she feels and
believes is right. Live in the spotlight is hard but whats harder (to
believe) is the plot twist that happens. Lastly I have to say how the
chapters are do is different, but cool. There is four main chapters,
each stood for a month, but chapter one is two months. I love stories
that give me plot twisted that make me think twice, that make me
reread the part, that make me say 'what?'. This is a must read if you
love the Hollywood world, teen lifestyle, and plot twists.

Memoirs of an Ordinary Girl: Fresh Meat Year
Memoirs of an Ordinary Girl: Fresh Meat
Year is book two in Terri Klaes Harper book series. This book I
believe, as a read, that many will enjoy. I love the world and
characters that Terri has developed in this book. It's filled with
wittiness and drama of a fourteen year old girl who leans that life
isn't easy and never goes the way we hope or thought.
There is a line in the first chapter
that is “This was the second funeral during this class period
within the first two weeks of school.” That one line pulled me
in and made me want to read more, find out more; the reader in me
wanted to know what happen. There's many lines like that in the first
chapter that just caught my attention; not only in the first chapter
but throughout the story. One of my favorite parts of the story is “A
spoon fight broke out between us while trying to get every last bit
of dough scraped out of the bowl. My mom entered the room, shaking
her head. “Did you leave any dough to actually bake?””
Terri's writing style is one I quite like. Her ability to bring Drew
and Drew's world to life is a read that readers who are fans of teen
stories, wit and so much more will like Memoirs of an Ordinary Girl:
Fresh Meat Year.
Sun and Moon by Elizabeth Paradise
Sun and Moon by Elizabeth Paradise is an unique book that could use a little work but the idea behind this book is great. I love how its different them most stories. I love the idea of how Emily and Ashe were born without magic in a world were it matters and plays a huge part of your life. I enjoy books about magic powers, save worlds and fantasy. There's so much more to this story then what the author tells you in the blurb. Also, the cover is amazing! This is a good read for ones who like magic, far away place and that's just the start.

Georgetown Academy: Season One by Alyssa Embree Schwartz & Jessica Koosed Etting
Georgetown Academy: Season One by Alyssa Embree Schwartz & Jessica Koosed Etting
Ellie, Brinley, Evan, and Taryn are
sophomores at private school, Georgetown Academy. I couldn't wait to
read this. As I love stories about private schools, I don't know why
I just do. So, when I started reading this I couldn't wait to see
where the path of Ellie, Brinley, Evan, and Taryn would take them.
Let's just same there path is a mixing blow filled with love, secret,
friendship, problems, humor, with a dash of drama; more than just a
dash but its all mix up in these great books! These are a must read
for me. Not only Gossip Girl fans
will enjoy it but anyone who likes to read about “...student life
seems drama-free. But everyone always has something to hide.”

Under Nameless Stars (Zenn Scarlett #2) by Christian Schoon
Review:
Under Nameless Stars is the second
novel in the Zenn Scarlett series by Christian Schoon.
But before I get the review going, I'm just going to say that I love
the cover and the name of this book, okay, now that that's out there.
I have to say, sadly I didn't get the chances to read book one before
this one. But I didn't really have a hard time picking up from the
start of this book. Before I read this book, I was reading other
reviews, and found that some were low reviews but didn't let that get
in may why of reading this and I can say that I'm glad I did read it.
It's well written, strong characters and good plot. I enjoy the story
would like to read the others. It has action, humor, interesting
creatures, space ships, and so much more. I enjoy stories about space
but not all the time, so when I was starting to read this I was so
hoping it would be the kind of space story I like and it was. Zenn
Scarlett is well written; one of my favorite things about Zenn is
that she takes care of alien animals! There are many interesting
character. This is a read that I hope to get to read again and learn
more about this world that Christian has made.

Book Review: The Fault in Our Stars
Wow. It's
that simple when it comes to this story. The witness and heart that
John Green bring to life on these pages will melt the heart of any
reader. The lines flow together to tell the story of Hazel in a way
that will touch souls; no matter the age of the reader. The love
story that develops between Hazel and Augustus Waters is one that I
won't be able to forgets. The side character of Isaac is one that I
enjoyed quite a lot, he brought a different side into the story that
would have been missing if he wasn't there. Augustus's witness is a
joy to read.
When I began reading this, I thought I
know how it was going to end. I believed I knew how the path was
going to go but I was wrong. And in the end ,yes I did cry, but it
was an amazing story. The Fault in Our Stars
is a must read that will show that love is strong, and we never get a
say so in our lives in the way we would like.

The Paper Sword by Robert Priest
Review:
The Paper Sword by Robert Priest is a wonderful read. If you love dangerous, fantasy, written good; than this book is for you. It has a fast paced plot that will keep you guess on what will happen next while still being able have a magic story come out of it. This is one I believe fast paced fantasy readers will enjoy quite a bit as I love fantasy and I liked it. The characters are excellent. Xemion is good hero, that I found I enjoy his character quite a bit. But I think Saheli would have had to be my favorite character written in this story as she's a mysterious past.

Amy, My Daughter by Mitch Winehouse
Review:
Amy,My Daughter by Mitch Winehouse is a touching story that touched my heart. I remember the day when the world learned that she had pasted back in Jul 23, 2011. Back then I didn't really know her or her music but I knew she had to be someone amazing to had to of touched so many lives with her music.
So, the fact that I didn't know her or her music is why I wanted to read this story written by her father. This is a good read for any fan, or even just for a good Biography. There was heartbreaking and funny parts. But for me not of be a fan of her's it was a nice read. Biography books aren't really my kind of read but it was well written and strong with powerful thoughts about her and her life.
