Book Review: Baby Girl Book 2: Moonlighting in Paris

Past versus Future...which will win??

A story that could pass off as a movie scene, Elle Klass as written one amazing adventure in part 2 of the Baby Girl Series; with Justine getting a whole new start in life, she adventures off into a whole new world of love, danger, and in hopes of finding her past.

Elle Klass is an amazing author that knows how to build a storyline that captures her audience and keeps them on the edge of their seat.

I could not put this book down; I had to finish seeing what happens to the new Justine. I highly recommend this story to any reader that likes a story that is full of tense suspense and keeps the reader wanting to know what the next twist is.

WAITING IMPATIENTLY FOR BABY GIRL 3!!!

Like Moonlight at Low Tide By Nicole Quigley

Like Moonlight at Low Tide By Nicole Quigley was published September 23rd 2012. Its 247 pages.

Returns to her hometown of Anna Maria Island, Florida, Melissa Keiser knows that its wont be easy. She has mixed feelings on being back home. Part of her is happy, she has her old best friend, who's happens to be now dating one of the islands cutest guys. But so of she's happy to be back on the island. Living the island lifestyles. But Melissa is not looking forward to her old classmate, the old name calling, the way her life was. But she still can to seem to get passed or over the loved one she lost to suicide.

The characters are more then just people Nicole thought of. They all have more to them, they have layers, just like most people. I love the fact that she's relatabled but then the next she's not relatable one bit. Melissa would have to been one of my favorite characters in this story, not because she's a lead. But because of what she goes through. I enjoyed the way that the island has its own 'style'; this little bit od detail make the story better in its own way. Melissa also has problems with her family. I think that's a part that may will be able to relate to even if there family problems are different. There are may other characters I would love to talk about but I don't want to give to much away. But I do want to say that Nicole's writing style, to me, has a classic feel to it. Her style reminds me of books I use to read. I'm a hung si-fi, fantasy, kinds of story but I also love a good teen fiction book any day. This was a short story, so I took my time and read it slowly, but I could be more happier that I took time to read the amazing story.

Legends of Oz by Denton J. Tipton and Blair Shedd

Legends of Oz by Denton J. Tipton and Blair Shedd. Was published on March 18, 2014.  Based on the animated film Legends of Oz! This child’s comics are for all ages. The story follows the characters after Dorothy leaves. The characters didn’t know that trouble was on its way and they would need Dorothy back to help save the day. As the classic characters the Lion, the Tinman and the Scarecrow goes on the hunt to bring Dorothy back. As the wicked witch of the west’s brother, Jester has come and he’s nothing but trouble. The flying monkey and Jester is causing trouble all over as the book takes you to on a journey. Since this is a comic/ graphic book a main part of the story is told just by the illustrations which are a huge part to understanding the story. The illustrations are perfect in this story; brightly colored, emotions in the characters, and has a way how showing what is happing in a way that is wonderful and easy to understand,
I enjoyed this story more then I thought I was. I found giggles here and there as I read it to my brother. I loved the illustrations and how the characters just popped right out. The story line was good; it has adventure but was also quite funny. Any Oz fan of any age will enjoy this new take on an amazing classic.

Michael Recyle and Bootleg Peg by Ellie Patterson and Alexandra Colombo

Michael Recyle and Bootleg Peg by Ellie Patterson and Alexandra Colombo. Was published on March 4, 2014. This is new installment of Michael Recyle book.
What happens when all this fish are missing from all seven seas? Michael Recyle takes this problem in his own hands to get back the fish so he and his friends can have their favorite fishy dish. Michael Recyle will have to face Bootleg Peg and her gruesome crew; as they are over fishing the seas. When Michael Recyle needs help he goes and gets help from his fish fiends to “Save Our Seas”.
This was a story that I would enjoy reading over and over. This is a cute story that has a meaning that teaches children only take what you need. The story line shows that taking just want you need and sharing is the way to live. The illustrations are good; colors follow right with the story. Little kids will enjoy the adventure that Michael Recyle and his fish friends take you on into the colorful sea story.

There Was an Old Sailor by Claire Saxby by Cassandra Allen

There Was an Old Sailor by Claire Saxby by Cassandra Allen. Was published on March 1, 2014. This is an advance review of this story.
There Was Old Sailor is a new spin on the classic "There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly”. The sailor swallows a krill; he doesn’t want to get ill so he swallows a jellyfish to catch the krill. Then one swallow leads to another. As each thing he swallows gets bigger and bigger.
I enjoy read this new take on "There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly” as it’s a favorite of mine. I found the new rhymes a joy to read. Furthermore, the illustrations are a great part of this book and were a pleasure to look at while reading. In addition, to this story at the end of this book there are fish facts about the sea creatures that the old sailor had swallowed. The joys of new rhymes will fill the air with laughter. As well make the children wonder what the old sailor will swallow next. Children who love rhymes and the sea will enjoy this story.

Struggles of the Women Folk by TM Brown

Life struggles sometimes come out to be the greatest gifts

Struggles of the Women Folk is a tender-hearted story of a young black girl that takes you on a journey of hardship, heart-break and love. TM Brown writes a story here that any women from any social background can relate to the hardships, heart-break and love that Georgie experiences.

I loved this read, it was written simple, but endured so many journeys into one piece of literature about the life of Georgie and how each struggle had its own way of turning out be the biggest gifts that Georgie receives. I would high recommend this story to all women folk that enjoy a good simple read but one that endures what life hands us sometimes.
